No.5 is the definitive floral aldehyde fragrance. Created by Jacques Polge in 1986 as the Eau de Parfum interpretation of Ernest Beaux's 1921 original, it is sparkling, powdery and luminous, with a creamy, woody warmth that has made it one of the most recognisable perfumes in the world.
It opens with the famous champagne-like fizz of aldehydes, brightened by bergamot and neroli, while ylang-ylang and peach add a soft, golden sweetness.
At its heart, iris, jasmine, rose and lily-of-the-valley blend into an abstract floral bouquet that feels powdery, radiant and refined.
It dries down to a smooth base of sandalwood, oakmoss, vanilla, patchouli and vetiver, creamy, earthy and softly warm.

Each decant is filled into a clean glass vial or atomizer and labeled with the fragrance name. Vials are securely sealed and packaged for shipping.
Do you accept returns?
We can’t accept change-of-mind returns or exchanges on opened decants. If your order arrives damaged, faulty or not what you ordered, email Sales@perfumesamplelab.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo, and we’ll send a replacement or refund it.
When will my order ship?
